2024 theme is outer space

2024 Children’s Picture Book Competition Details:

Who can enter: Children aged 12 and under living in the Gympie Region.
Submission Lodgement: Lodge your entries at the Gympie Library, clearly marked Attention: Curtis Dray.
Submission Date: 22 June 2024.
Intended Audience of book: Children aged three to five years old.
Theme: Outer space – think aliens, planets, space crafts, and beyond!
Page Specifications: Single-sided A4 size, comprising at least ten pages plus a cover.
Illustrations: Colourful illustrations, avoiding overlap with text to facilitate digital scanning for publication.
Professional editing: The winner will work with our graphic designer and approve digital copy.
Library Cataloguing: In school library and local Gympie Regional Libraries, with its very own ISBN.
Printed Copies: Three printed copies of the book- for the author, their school library, and Gympie Libraries.
Digital Copy: The winner will also receive a PDF copy of their book.
Additional Copies: The option to order extra copies.
