2024 theme is outer space

Kids love creating and building, so whilst it is not compulsory we encourage activities that fit this theme.

Schools, Early Learning Centres, Clubs and groups, local businesses and organisations working with young children place an expression of interest to support the event.

Become a sponsor, donate a prize, provide an activity and/or information booth, or add a flyer or promo item to the parent bags.

Have children at your centre/school create large bugs and creepy crawlies to display or decorate the walking track which weaves throughout the pavilion and basketball court.

Volunteers also required to support the committee on the day as an LKDO Volunteer or join the committee which meets monthly on the second Wednesday of the month at Kingston House.

2024 ACTIVITY PROVIDERS AND INFORMATION BOOTHS

The idea behind this interactive day is to connect families with young children to support services, early learning centres and local schools in a fun interactive play focused day. All children are tactile learners, so touch, colour and sound are very important to a child’s development. Playing with your children helps you understand them and how they think, and builds better communication and attachment. The best part of our job is watching parents/grandparents/caregivers linking in with their child’s imagination and joining in the fun. Many of the activities at the Little Kids Day Out you will be able to do at home.
